Since 2002 I have maintained a private violin studio of students of all ages at Cavatina Music Studios in Tallahassee, FL.  I use a synthesis of Suzuki and traditional pedagogy, tailored to suit the strengths and learning styles of each student.  My approach is positive and compassionate, but also demanding, and I enjoy helping my students find creative solutions to technical and musical challenges.

As Music Director for the Tallahassee Bach Parley, my goal is to reach out to the audience and present Baroque music on period instruments in an easily accessible way.  Through a relaxed commentary during the concerts, I let the audience in on specific features to listen for in the music, intriguing  facts about the life of each composer, circumstances around the original performance, or reasons we enjoy playing a piece today.

At the Florida State University College of Music I direct the Baroque Ensemble (on period instruments) and have taught violin and directed the Irish Ensemble.  I perform with the Tallahassee Symphony, and have been a principal player and soloist with the Atlanta Baroque Orchestra for over 10 years.
